About Sara

Sara (she/her) is a Public Policy Associate in MaineHealth’s Government Affairs department. She has been a member of Temple Beth El since 2008, and joined the board in 2019; this is her second year as president. Sara lives in Portland with her husband, David Freidenreich, and their kids, Ren and Jacob. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, cooking, and reading. Sara is also honored to serve as one of TBE’s gabbaim.
