Why is it that at the age of 88 I decided to go back on the board of TBE? Life throws many curveballs at us. I felt that it was time to re-engage in my community, and was so glad to say “yes” when asked if I would rejoin the board. My family has been a member of TBE for 76 years. And I feel it is important that native Portlanders are present to be a link between the past and present.

We serve at the pleasure of our congregants. And it is important for us to be ever-vigilant to the needs of our fellow members of TBE. This is the duty of board members to be receptive to the pulse of our extended, congregational family. I can be reached at (207) 831-2561 and I invite your calls, comments, and recommendations.
