About Jackie

Hi, I’m Jackie Parker. I grew up in New Jersey and have lived in Portland for over 20 years. 

My wife Jen and I have two awesome kids, Ray (14) and Eden (10) and two cats, Pippin and Rustin, who lay claim to all who enter our house. 

We have been TBE participants since 2016 and have been getting more involved in recent years as our kids have gotten more and involved with events and going through KBE. We have felt welcome and encouraged to be more active participants.  

I work in the automotive industry and in my free time I love to read, go to live music events, travel, and make music with my family. I play guitar (not that well) and my kids play drums and guitar and love to sing, and we dream of being an ABBA cover band - ok, that’s just me.

I love watching Premier League soccer (Spurs supporter) and am psyched that Portland now has a home club! 

I look forward to welcoming Rabbi Simmons to TBE and am excited to see future growth for our community!
