Uniquely Maine
In many ways, we are just like most American synagogues. We celebrate Shabbat and holidays, we are active in our community, and we are there for our members through all of their major life events. Yet, when people who are new to Maine come to TBE, one of the first things that they notice is that our synagogue feels different. We believe that this is because we are in Maine, where we are blessed with spectacular natural beauty in every direction, and where it takes a special kind of commitment to hold sacred Jewish space in our lives.
