About Judy
Judy Gatchell is a past president of TBE who grew up in a thriving Jewish community in Bangor, Maine. She worked for many years in public health in Maine and continues to volunteer in support of those experiencing poverty and food insecurity in our community. As chair of TBE’s Adult Jewish Learning Committee, she is grateful for the opportunity to support another of her passions, Jewish education. Judy lives in Brunswick with her husband Dan, just blocks away from each of her two children and five grandsons.
