About Daniel

Originally from Royal Oak, Michigan, Daniel Heinrich (he/him/his) now lives in Augusta with his wife, Alex, and their two cats. After several years away for graduate programs, Daniel and Alex returned to Maine in 2023 and he now serves as the Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Center for Small Town Jewish Life. With a background as a professional chef, an education in Jewish Leadership and Non-Profit Management, and a long history with Temple Beth El as its former Assistant Director, he has a ton of passion for TBE's past, present, and future. When he’s not working, you can find Daniel covered in flour baking in the kitchen, tangled in yarn while knitting, or outside hiking, camping, or golfing.
