HIGH HOLIDAYS

We invite you to join us for High Holiday services on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, and for Shabbat services throughout the year. Temple Beth El has an open-door and open-seating policy. All are welcome, and no tickets are required. Donations to our High Holiday Annual Appeal are appreciated. We offer the option of reserving seating in the Sanctuary or Social Hall for $100 per seat. Please contact the TBE office at 774-2649 for more information.

We offer special High Holiday family and children's services and programming in addition to the worship services in the main sanctuary. Members of our congregation take an active role in leading different parts of the service, which is conducted in both Hebrew and English.

This High Holiday 5780 season, Temple Beth El welcomes Rabbi Shoshana Friedman. Rabbi Friedman is known for her uplifting and musical prayer services, her emotionally resonant teachings based in Jewish text and tradition, and her commitment to climate action and social justice. She currently serves as the Director of Professional Development at Hebrew College in Newton, MA, where she works with rabbinical and cantorial students, and teaches on spirituality and social justice. Most recently she was the Associate Rabbi at Temple Sinai in Brookline, MA.

Rabbi Shoshana was ordained by Hebrew College and is an alumna of the Wexner Graduate Fellowship, JOIN for Justice, and Oberlin College of Arts and Sciences where she was also a Henry David Thoreau Scholar.
