The Shalom Committee is Temple Beth El's official welcome wagon, charged with sending greetings to our newest members, and remaining attentive to those who have joined the Temple in recent years.  Shalom Committee members have been known to give tours of Greater Portland to those who are new to the area, act as Sukkah hop hosts, deliver Shabbat baskets to new members, call recent members and invite them to services or an Adult Learning program, and host newcomers for holiday meals.
