Dov Goldberg has served the Temple Beth El Congregation as Director of Congregational Learning since July of 2008.  In this role Mr. Goldberg serves as the principal of our Hebrew School, in addition to providing B’nai Mitzvah tutoring, and assisting with pastoral care.  During his short time with us, Dov has distinguished himself as an educator who has high standards for learning and community.  He has worked with our Hebrew School committee to restructure the Hebrew School to enhance individual learning and strengthen family participation in Jewish living.  He often leads Shabbat and Holiday services with Rabbi Braun.

Mr. Goldberg came to us from Temple Israel of Great Neck New York, where he served as the Director of the Waxman High School and Youth House.  He has served as the Dean of Residential Life at American Hebrew Academy in Greensboro, North Carolina, the Director of Altshuler Akiva Academy and the Maimonides School of Jewish Studies in Youngstown Ohio, and Educational Director of Beth Israel Congregation in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Congregation B’nai Tikvah in North Brunswick, New Jersey.
