The Temple Beth El kitchen is designed with complete and separate meat and dairy facilities to observe the dietary laws of kashruth. The kitchen is available for rent on a daily basis.  Here are some things you should consider if you are making plans to be in the kitchen.

• Know Your Kitchen: Anyone who will be cooking in the kitchen must receive an orientation from Chris Ramos, our kitchen manager. Please contact him to arrange a time to meet.
• Approved Caterers: If you plan to hire a caterer, we suggest you choose from the following list of caterers approved to work in the Temple kitchen.  Caterers and Servers If you wish to hire a caterer who is not on our list, please contact Chris Ramos to set up a kitchen oriention time.
• Kitchen Use Guidelines: If you are new to our kitchen or if it has been a while since you have had your hands in our mixing bowls, please take a minute to review our Kitchen Use Guidelines
• Please Use Our Dishes: The Temple Beth El kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for preparing and serving your meal.  Please help us maintain our kashruth by leaving your cookware or dishes at home.
• All Deliveries Prior to Shabbat: All deliveries must arrive prior to 3:00pm on Friday. After that time nothing gets carried in or out of the building until an hour after sunset on Saturday.
• All Cooking Prior to Shabbat: All cooking must be completed prior to 3:00pm on Friday. After that time, only cold food prep or reheating can take place until an hour after sunset on Saturday.
